Who we are
Roadshell Rush is made by Predrag Samardzic, an independent developer ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, email predragsamardzic13@gmail.com.
Data stored on your device
To remember your progress, the game saves the following on your iPhone using standard iOS app storage:
- Best score, coin balance, owned runners and worlds, power-up upgrade levels and your selected runner and world.
- Purchased offers (Starter Pack, Coin Doubler, Complete Collection) and the App Store transaction IDs already credited, so a purchase is never delivered twice.
- Daily-goal progress, achievement progress, lifetime coin count and whether you've finished the tutorial.
- Settings: volume levels, haptics, control mode (tilt or arrows), tilt sensitivity, contrast and motion preferences.
This data never leaves your device except through the Apple services described below. Deleting the app deletes it.
iCloud sync
If you're signed in to iCloud, the game keeps a copy of your coins, unlocks, upgrades and credited purchases in iCloud key-value storage so your progress follows you to your other devices. This data is stored in your iCloud account under Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access it. To stop syncing, turn off iCloud for the app in iOS Settings or sign out of iCloud.
Game Center
Game Center is optional. If you're signed in, the game sends your best score to the Roadshell Rush leaderboard and reports achievement progress. Apple handles this under its own privacy terms, and your Game Center settings control who can see your profile and scores. We can see leaderboard entries the way any player can (your Game Center nickname and score), but we don't store or use them for anything else. If you're not signed in, nothing is sent.
In-app purchases
Optional purchases (coin packs, Starter Pack, Coin Doubler, Complete Collection) are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles your payment information, receipts and refunds. The app only receives confirmation of which product was bought and a transaction ID, which it stores on your device and in your iCloud (see above) to deliver the item exactly once and support Restore Purchases. Apple sends us aggregate, anonymized sales reports. They contain no personal data about you.
Motion sensors & haptics
When tilt steering is on, the game reads your iPhone's motion sensor while a run is in progress to work out which way you're tilting. These readings are used immediately to steer and are never stored or transmitted. iOS doesn't require a permission prompt for this. Haptic feedback and sound play locally and can be turned off in Settings.
What we never do
- No advertising and no advertising SDKs.
- No third-party analytics, crash-reporting or attribution SDKs.
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no access to the advertising identifier (IDFA), so the app never shows Apple's tracking prompt.
- No accounts, sign-ups, chat or user-generated content.
- No access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data.
- We never sell or share personal data, because we don't have any.
TestFlight beta
If you test the game through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share with us the email address or name you used to accept the invite, along with crash reports, device model, iOS version and any feedback or screenshots you choose to submit. We use this only to run the beta and fix problems, and we never share it. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and the TestFlight terms. To stop, remove the app from TestFlight.
This website
This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no third-party fonts and no embedded trackers. It's hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We don't use that data to identify visitors. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Children
Roadshell Rush is a gentle game suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country), so no special consent is needed for the game itself. Parents can manage purchases with Apple's Screen Time and Ask to Buy. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your choices & rights
Because we hold no personal data from the game, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You stay in control:
- Erase local progress: delete the app.
- Erase synced progress: turn off iCloud sync for the app, or manage your iCloud data through your Apple Account.
- Game Center: sign out, or manage visibility and data in Settings › Game Center.
- Purchases: view history or request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you live in the EU/EEA, UK, California or elsewhere with data-protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA), you have rights to access, delete or object to the processing of personal data. If you email us, we'll honor those rights for any correspondence we hold. You can also contact your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever changes how it handles data, for example by adding a new service, we'll update this page and the date at the top before that version is released. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
